I am a graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am also a graduate of Troy State University of Montgomery (TSUM) with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and certification in Gifted Education.

I have been teaching since 2000 at Prattville Intermediate School. I have taught 6th grade for nineteen years, 5th grade for three years, and Gifted Education for two years. This year I have the pleasure of teaching the 6th grade once again, but as a Science/Social Studies teacher.
