Meet Mrs. Lindsay Banks!

Hi, everyone! I’m Mrs. Lindsay Banks, and I am beyond excited and honored to be the school counselor at Prattville Intermediate School! 

This is my 17th year in education, and I’ve had the privilege of spending most of my career in the elementary classroom. I taught third grade for 4 years and first grade for 11 years, experiences that gave me a true love for helping children learn, grow, and become the very best versions of themselves.

I am a proud graduate of Huntingdon College, where I earned degrees in Elementary Education and Political Science/Pre-Law. I later earned my Master’s Degree and Education Specialist degree in School Counseling. I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where every student feels seen, heard, valued, and supported. 

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me enjoying all things fitness, catching up on much-needed naps, BAKING or doing anything DISNEY! ✨🏰 I also love spending time with my family and my precious fur-babies!

I am so excited to begin another wonderful school year and to work alongside such an amazing group of students, families, teachers, and staff. I can’t wait to make memories, build relationships, and help our students have an AMAZING year at Prattville Intermediate!
