I am delighted to be entering my seventh year at Prattville Intermediate School and my second year serving as an Interventionist, building upon a 21-year career in education. After spending many years in the classroom, I am excited to continue growing in my role as an Interventionist, where I have the opportunity to support students through targeted instruction and interventions that help them reach their academic goals. I am committed to creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where every student feels supported and capable of success.
I firmly believe in the importance of building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. These connections form the foundation of a successful educational experience and create a supportive school community that encourages student growth and achievement.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Stillman College
- Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, University of West Alabama
- Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Elementary Education, University of West Alabama
On a personal note, I am blessed with a supportive family, including my husband, DeVon, and our son, Ethan. Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new destinations.
I look forward to another rewarding year of growth, learning, and collaboration with the Prattville Intermediate School community. I am excited to continue supporting our students and helping them build the skills and confidence they need to be successful.
